Believe me I'm no expert when it comes to glazing windows but now I've tried Sellaseal Sash Glaze I'll use it every time over putty.

In the past I used builders bog to repair and fill gaps in timber, but after using the DT epoxy wood repair product, I now realise this is a superior product. It may cost more than builders bog, but it is definitely worth it.
