1. ABOUT THESE TERMS

This website, sellaseal.com.au, is operated by Sellaseal ("we", "us", "our"). These terms apply to everyone who uses the site or buys from us. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to these terms and to our Refund Policy, Shipping Policy and Privacy Policy, which form part of them.

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you place an order applies to that order.

Our store is hosted on Shopify, which provides the platform we use to sell to you.

2. YOUR RIGHTS UNDER AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or changes any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded. If anything in these terms appears to say otherwise, the law prevails.

3. USING THE SITE

You must be 18 or over to place an order, or have a parent or guardian place it for you.

You must not:
- use the site or our products for any unlawful purpose;
- interfere with the site's security or operation, or upload viruses or harmful code;
- scrape, copy or republish the site's content;
- submit false or misleading information, or pretend to be someone else.

We may suspend or end your access to the site if you breach these terms.

4. PRODUCTS AND INFORMATION

We take care to describe and photograph our products accurately, but colours can look different on screen, and timber and other natural materials vary slightly between batches.

The guides, calculators, videos and product information on this site are general information to help you plan your job. They do not replace checking your own windows, measurements and site conditions, or getting advice from a qualified tradesperson where the work needs one. Always follow the instructions and Safety Data Sheet supplied with each product.

We may change or discontinue products, and limit order quantities, at any time.

5. PRICES AND ORDERS

Prices are in Australian dollars. Shipping and any GST are shown at checkout before you pay.

When you place an order, you are making an offer to buy. We accept your order when we dispatch the goods. We may decline or cancel an order, for example if an item is unavailable, a price or description on the site is clearly wrong, or we suspect fraud. If we cancel an order you have paid for, we will refund you in full.

If an item on your order is out of stock or on backorder, we will tell you and give you the choice of waiting or cancelling that item.

6. PAYMENT

Payments are processed by our payment providers through Shopify's secure checkout. We do not store your full card details.

7. DELIVERY, RETURNS AND REFUNDS

Delivery is covered by our Shipping Policy, and returns and refunds by our Refund Policy. Delivery times are estimates and can be affected by the carrier.

8. TRADE ACCOUNTS

Trade accounts and trade pricing are offered at our discretion. Any separate terms we agree with a trade customer apply alongside these terms.

9. OUR CONTENT

The content on this site, including text, photos, videos, guides, calculators and logos, belongs to us or the people who licensed it to us. You may use it to plan and carry out your own work, but you must not copy, republish or sell it without our written permission.

10. REVIEWS, PHOTOS AND FEEDBACK

If you send us reviews, photos, ideas or other feedback, you agree that we may use, edit and publish them, without payment to you. You must not send anything that is unlawful, misleading, offensive or that infringes someone else's rights. We may remove any content at our discretion.

11. OTHER WEBSITES AND TOOLS

The site may link to, or include tools from, other businesses. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, products or services. Please read their terms and policies before using them.

12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

This section is subject to section 2. To the extent the law allows:
- we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost profits, lost revenue or delay costs;
- where the law allows our liability for failing to meet a consumer guarantee to be limited, it is limited to replacing or repairing the goods, or paying the cost of replacing or repairing them;
- we are not liable for loss caused by a product being used contrary to its instructions, or by events outside our reasonable control.

13. INDEMNITY

You agree to cover any reasonable costs we incur because you breached these terms or misused the site, except to the extent the loss was caused by us.

14. PRIVACY

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use your personal information.

15. GENERAL

If any part of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the rest of the terms continue to apply. If we do not enforce a right straight away, we have not given it up.

These terms are governed by the laws of Tasmania, Australia, and you and we submit to the courts of Tasmania.
