This is a great product. A builder got me onto it on a recent job and I've since used it on my own. It's reassuring to know I'm doing a proper wood repair combined with the epoxy as opposed to just using a bog or lesser quality filler. I've been able to perform some miracles with this!
Really great product! I'm no carpenter, just a DIY home renovator with a 100yr old house featuring original timber sash windows. This product has been an absolute miracle for window restoration. I was previously using Builders Bog, but noticed it just wasn't resistant to the elements, after a couple weeks it would crack and let water into the timber again.
Then I came across this Wood Repair Epoxy - it's incredibly durable and weather resistant! It's been months since I used it to fill a really large rot hole in one of my window sills and there's no cracking or movement in sight! It's easy to work with and sands down without clogging up the sandpaper.
Will definitely be buying again for other projects, and I can't wait to try their window putty alternative
This is no wood filler, gap filler, quick 5 minute slop it in, harden and move on product.
I used it to fill a victorian era door handle hole, so that i could redrill the hole in a slightly different spot for a new replacement handle. Its tricky as generally a filler product will crumble and break away if you disturb it after it dries. Not this door. Perfect hole, no cracks, same characteristics as timber other than no timber grain. Will use again. Easily justified price if you are after high aquality filler that is also a formidableglue/bond adhesive. Follow instructions.
I tried several things to repair my door step which had wood rot but they all cracked after a couple of weeks .i got some wood hardener after removing all the soft wood painted it and used sellaseal to bog it up so far so 6 weeks and looking great.
Fantastic products
Great Product worked Well
Best product out there for the job
Makes wood repairs on window great
Outstanding product. In the past I used builders bog to repair and fill gaps in timber, but after using the DT epoxy wood repair product, I now realise this is a superior product. It may cost more than builders bog, but it is definitely worth it. Plus very impressed with the delivery time.
Excellent product. I shall see it's longevity eventually.
The long term test will be after a few years.
It is not cheap but it certainly does the job. I have been removing builders bog that has not aged well and replacing the repairs with the epoxy.
Easy go use. Very robust product. Seems like it will last a long time. But time will tell. Great product
I'm applying this product to some heavily weathered timber windows. I simply could not achieve the results I'm getting any other way. The fast cure is really speeding up the work. They claim is a better alternative than builder's bog. That's a huge understatement. Slightly tricky when the temperature goes up so mix is small batches that you can use in a few minutes. Can't recommend this highly enough.
Best stuff ever
Great product, easy to use with dual dispenser. Far more effective than using bog.
Fantastic product!, thanks again seal a sash!
