Sash Pulleys

A new pulley being marked out on a Melbourne job. Our installation crews fit these same pulleys during cord replacements and full window services.

Made by Mighton in the UK. The pulley our own crews fit. A solid brass faceplate with no rivets to work loose, a brass wheel running on ball bearings, and a galvanised cage behind the plate. Mighton back them with a 20 year guarantee, and a waxed cotton cord runs over the ball bearing wheel quietly and without sawing wear.

Sold as single pulleys. A double hung window needs four: two per sash. Available in seven finishes to match your other window hardware: Polished Brass, Polished Chrome, Antique Brass, Satin Chrome, Satin Brass, Lacquered Brass and Antique Pewter.

Dimensions: 25mm faceplate, 116mm plate with rounded ends (118mm square), 40mm body behind the plate.

Choosing a replacement: measure your existing faceplate length and width, and check there is 40mm of depth in the pulley stile for the body. Replacing like for like means the existing mortise usually needs no more than light tidying.
